Letting your customers know your opening times is essential If you want to have a successful business. However over holiday periods opening times can often differ quite significantly to normal operating hours. Luckily Google has now added special opening times to its ‘Google My Business’ listings. This will allow you to add specific times and dates that your business will not be open.
This is something that could be essential over the Christmas period.
Here is a really simple guide to add special closing dates
To set your Special Opening hours you need to go to business.google.com .
Once here you will be presented with a list of businesses that you are authorised to manage, select the business you wish to add the opening times to.
You will now be taken to a screen with a lot of options you will need to select special hours which is located just underneath Hours.
You will now see a pop up box that will allow you to enter a date as well as a time, you will also be given the option to say your business will be closed on that day.
Once this is done google will now start to show that your business is closed on those days in the search results.
